JE Pro Seal Head Gaskets are designed to provide a strong deal between the cylinder head and the engine block for even the most stressful of applications. These head gaskets are MLS or Multi-Layer-Steel and are made from a few different layers of stainless steel spring. This ensures a stronger seal than a single layer head gasket and prevents coolant and oil leaks into the combustion chamber.
The middle layers of the JE MLS head gasket acts like a spring, pushing the outer layers apart. The spring steel used here is able to expand and contract without deforming under load and staying elastic, allowing it to take high pressures over and over and over.
Not all MLS Head Gaskets are created equal, and JE knows that modified engines have much higher cylinder pressures and their head gaskets are made to take it! We can't recommend these head gaskets enough for those who are rebuilding their motor or setting their motor up to be able to take a lot of power.
